Jared Moskowitz

Co-Host of State of Emergency

Jared Moskowitz is the former Director of Florida’s Division of Emergency Management. A Democratic state representative since 2012, Moskowitz served as vice president of a disaster recovery company during his time in office. In 2020, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, in a show of bipartisanship, tapped the Parkland native as FDEM director. After guiding Florida through hurricanes, the COVID-19 pandemic and its vaccination efforts, Moskowitz stepped down in May 2021 to take a well-needed rest and spend time with his young family — and now co-host a podcast.

Jared Moskowitz has hosted 16 Episodes.
